  1. I've always loved swimming as a kid but hated exercise in general. I tried out running and different home workout videos as an adult to improve my health and cardio but it never stuck with me. Never looked forward to it and whenever I did it I never had fun.
    I bought my very first one year swim card at my public swimming pool last week and it has been great so far. Heck, I even look forward to my exercise sessions which is something I never did before. Feels great and I really hope it does my heart/lungs and body good too. Not really doing it for any physical changes.

  2. In my pool , In VietNam , only the elder chose this sport , young thunder cat like my age they choose mobile phone , In stead of going out.

  4. Pay special note from 3:40 to 4:06, "Burns massive amounts of calories." IF YOU ARE TYPE 2 DIABETIC This can cause a rapid drop in blood sugar. Make sure that you consume some carbohydrates before you swim. If your blood sugar should drop, you may experience leg cramps. If this happens then you will have to revert to a slow breast stroke. The breast stroke kick will help keep your calf muscles stretched out so they will not cramp.

Some people say that swimming won't make you taller others say it will but it INDIRECTLY does help either way because it destorys stress and makes you happy PLUS even if it is only for a while it decompressed your back and burn calories which in turn helps you lose weight AND in turn Improves hgh production

  10. am 73 years old beenswimmming about one years it drops my blood pressure i like the sprints sys and swim one mile every day if possiable love to freestyle , backstroke every other day work out on a light weights. keep the faith swim for life.

  14. Does swimming helps to increase height for late teens. I am 17 years old and my height is 5'10". Can i increase my height by doing swimming regularly for 1 hour?

  15. This is the only sport that makes you feel and be better after finishing a workout in other sports you feel tired or even injured!

  21. I have a creek down the road from where I live. I go quite often just to swim against the current for as long as I can. It's like a treadmill but in water

  22. I bought a bluetooth mp3 player and radio and I love it when I swim. I can listen to tunes while I'm in the pool and I go longer too!

  23. Im letting my body recover from 2 1/2 yrs of jumping rope.still full body workout and I burn about 450 calories in 50 minutes…. love this!
