    I have one question, how to exhale and when to exhale? Cause i cant breath if i do not exhale.

  5. where did you cover inhaling and exhaling technique? I mean using nose/mouth inhale or nose/mouth exhale technique and their drills.

  6. Thanks for these vids. They are a big help. I signed up for an adult swimming class…I have until April 1 to learn how to breathe…'cause I'm guessing my mask and snorkel won't be welcome. LOL.

  7. Do I need to hold breath under water to help body floating?

  8. This was good, but I still don’t know the best way to let the air out when my head is in the water, is it through mouth or nose, is there a technique to it like slow release? I really don’t like the noise of the bubbles under water but do I need to let the air out under water or can I let it out before I breathe in?

  12. This is my absolute nemesis. :( A lifetime fear of swimming that really boils down to not being able to get the breathing down. Even looking at the video gives me anxiety. Nonetheless, the tips are very helpful!

  15. Thank you for this. I have been floundering around in water all my life. Even had lessons as a kid and could never put my head under water without fingers pinching nose.
    I tried your techniques last night, working with kick board, then eventually on freestyle and breaststroke, and I am able to swim! I will keep working on my technique, but it was awesome to learn this. I swim almost daily for past month, feel like I made huge strides. (I'm 54, so high time I learned!)

  17. Do we exhale and inhale both at the same time when we lift our head above the surface or do we inhale when above water and then exhale underwater? Is this how it works?

  18. This makes more sense, I was lifting my head out and had to switch my arm position. There is a pocket of air, I done it on a accident.

  19. Binge watching your videos. I have started swimming a bit more seriously I wanna learn it the right way and I also want to be confident swimming in open water :)
