Swimming is so weird I’m a pretty athletic guy and can run and hike long distances but the other day I went to a pool with lanes and was pretty winded swimming from one side to the other and their was some pretty un athletic people swimming like fucking aqua-man just made me feel like a fool haha

I wouldn’t say kicking “too much” is bad, it’s actually probably good. The issue is when the feet come out of the water like in the video. For a powerful freestyle kick you want to be kicking fast but also powerful, and you get that power by keeping your feet under.
