  1. Wouldn't it be better to close your fingers than open them?

  2. I have paddles some one gave me I never used them?

  3. I love your vidoes ! I learned how to rotate by myself lol, I tried one of your of ;positions with the fist omg how hard, but thank you . I would have never thought of that. I got in pool today first time in months since my spine fusion surgery, LOVE YOUR VIDES PLEASE KEEP IT UP. DONT STOP

  4. I've been swimming all my life, but last few years, trying to have great technique for free style.
Been watching a lot of YouTube videos, etc.
One of the most important thing I mostly self discovered, was this rotational momentum.
You get way more pull from your arm, when you learn to pull with your body rotation.

Of two years of watching freestyle videos, this is the first guy who focused on it and explained it well.
So I highly recommend this guy. He knows how to really help.
    Thanks.

  5. Can you please tell me which app do you use for drawing while you analyse?

  6. My main set once a week, is 5*500 meter with large paddles and 50 sec rest between every 500-interval.
I'm around 6-7 seconds faster/100 m with paddles than without. (Over the same long-interval-set).

  7. I love pull sets. My shoulder not so much.

  8. My knees went to pot in HS and college (muscle imbalance caused the kneecaps not to track correctly, lots of swelling and pain). Had the opportunity to swim in the early am several days a week in college. My knees were so bad that all I could do was pull. No push off the wall, no kick, no nothing. About three months later, I needed a larger shirt size because my back and shoulders were so much stronger and toned. My stroke improved a bunch, too.

  9. Thanks for the help!

  10. Swim on my back using hand paddles…doing tricep extenstions…keep your elbows in and close to your body.. extraordinary triceps pump! Try it!!!

  11. Uh ok I feel called out…doing pull at my next workout now!

  12. Dude, I literally figured it out today that I should work hard on my pull strength to improve my efficiency! Thank you for the tips!

  13. I train with the local triathlon team at the moment cause no separate masters team for just swimmers. So we do loads of freestyle practice more than I’ve ever done before, but training to training I impove and not just my freestyle but my backstroke too. We swim a lot with we call “the turtle” on the hands, also paddles and loads of drills. My favorite drill when you touch your shoulder and then straighten you hand up to every third breath. This helps to balance your body. Also stroke count is lovely.
