La Jolla cove in La Jolla, CA. during the spring, the sea lions breed there. They're used to people and don't attack. There's a swim club, but I wasn't in good enough shape to swim with them or do much swimming at all last time I was there. The water is clear and blue and 55.
I live 25 minutes fro Lake Tahoe. It is as beautiful as its reputation claims but saying its chilly is a vast understatement. It is COLD year round.
