The swimmer isn't as buoyant so he doesn't benefit from his kick so he needs to do some kicking drills on his back and front. The drill he is doing is fine which is a butterfly glide. Perhaps he needs to work on one arm glide drills to strength his pull on both side. He is doing the right thing wearing fins to practice butterfly.

I would say "this is a really "good start for a beginner. First work on relaxing the shoulders and drill: Rt arm then Left arm and then full stroke breath to the side to reduce amplitude. Next I would encourage a thumpity – thump kick pattern with the same drill. The one arm drill will help him feel a freestyle arm stroke instead of a straight arm stoke. Everybody starts at the beginning.. good start
Body posture is going too deep ..arms coming over too straight ..hand entry is flat …pull should be hour glass or key hole shaped…should be two leg beats per stroke..big one for propelling you forward …the second smaller one when your pull /push reaches hip level …should be kicking from the hips …not bending the knees

1. Move arms barely if at all on underwater side chest,core,hips, the Kicks need to be smaller quicker and more steady
2. Focus on being more flat and low and drag your arms on the water and always keep arms moving and bring head down before entry of the arms
Way too deep in the water. Flatten out
Avoid bending the knees, bend the elbows to create a more straight pull path under the body, never stop moving the arms
Don't put your videos on YouTube would be my main recommendation
