Florian Wellbrock might be worth mentioning, as he won a medal both in the pool and in free water.
The only thing separating Australia and the US were those relays. If Australia had stayed in the lead for 2 of those relays and got gold instead of bronze would of been the first time another team beat the US in swimming. Will be interesting to see as Australia seems to have a younger team coming through. Medal Talley is ranked on number of gold not not number of medals like most of the US media was displaying this year for some weird reason
The Men』s 4 by 100 relay should have been much higher.

I follow MySwimPro from Mexico City and I change my swim in the pool. I lost my coach a few months a go. I will go to a competition in open waters on November in Acapulco (6400 mts). And I feel great!!! Thank you!!!
I think the best event was actually the men』s 400 meter medley relay the us was seated 7th and then went a world record and won. The stakes were so high because they had never ever lost that race

I'd love a video on why america win the most. For me the MVP is dressel just because of the swimmers in the races he won and to get 5 gold's wow

Also, some perspective. USA has a population of 328 million people. Australia has 25 million, so USA 13 times bigger. There are more people each in California (39m) and Texas (29m) than all of Australia and Florida is close with 21m.
