I have long hair but I can easily do it myself. I tie it up in a low ponytail at the back of my head (as low as possible), lean forward so the hair then flicks over your forehead, put the hat on front first then tuck in all the hair sticking out of the front. It's very fast and means you don't get a big bump in your hat, only you look stupid when putting it on from the fringe sticking out your hat!
