This is my comfort swimming page
Here's my tip:
Get a good teacher so you don't drown.
Break into sets, talk to my coach plz
He’s an Olympic coach and we start with 200m minimum, sometimes 4km nonstop
His Page is good too do different swimming type in a hour swim or just work one type of swimming
Some great tips.. thanks!
About lane sharing, if the pool is full and there are no lanes available, the person swimming alone should expect that at any given moment someone could jump into his/her lane to share it.
So there is no need for the person joining having to wait to say "hey, can I join?", because most of the time I for example will be in the middle of a set, and the person outside would have to wait a long time.
What you cannot do is jump into the lane and start swimming without the person having seen you first.
So, what you do is, wait outside, standing by the border a little, and notice if the person swimming sees you and goes to the edge of the lane. If he/she does, then just jump and start swimming on your side.
If he/she does not, then jump into the pool and stay at the corner of the lane, and wait until the swimmer sees you and goes to the edge. Then you can start swimming on your side.
If the swimmer is just standing by the border, not swimming, then you could talk to him/her before jumping in.
Measurable
asking to "share a lane" is a bit too much and no one does that.
You may find waiting forever until person stops doing his workout
Actually I'm not a new swimmer but your tips are great and I'll keep using them during my training sessions.
Excellent content in all your videos.
Keep sharing practical suggestions and drills with all of us.
Thank you for your hard work and passion for swimming.
