Any advice how not to get water inhaled when breathing, I have this problem only with butterfly, with freestyle even big waves do not matter, but swimming butterfly, sometimes I inhale splashed water, possible because of faster breath, not sure, what I am doing wrong there.

You mentioned at 6:48 that a breath is taken while returning the hands forward. However, shouldn't a breath be taken at the end of the pull? This also seems like what the swimmer is doing when the video is played in slow motion.
I like to breath on every stroke. Doing the butterfly stroke requires so much muscle energy that I like to get as much oxygen as possible. I am over 50. I can't hold my breath like the young twenty somethings.

Hi Evgeny and Alexander – thank you for another great video. Yes the dryland exercises are really good and I have improved lots especially in my arm recovery since doing them . I need to add the rocking exercises – i will try but found it difficult. Lots of great advice in this video esp getting the head in first not having a pause before breathing. Your series is the best butterfly on YouTube the web. Also happy Christmas to all your team
